For Business Owners
Before you can sell online, you must be signed in and have claimed your business listing. If your business isn't listed, add it first, then claim it.
Important: Stripe & ABN Requirements
- For Companies/Organizations: You MUST provide a valid Australian Business Number (ABN). This is a mandatory verification step.
- For Individuals/Sole Traders: If you do not have an ABN, you must select 'Individual' as your business type during the Stripe setup process. This will allow you to onboard without an ABN.
MBN is a 0% commission platform. To cover payment processing fees, a small, flat-rate transaction fee between $1.00 and $3.00 is applied by our payment provider, Stripe.
Understanding Payout Timelines
Payouts are not instant. After a customer pays, the funds are first confirmed and settled in your Stripe Balance. This process helps prevent issues with failed payments. Once cleared, the funds are paid out to your bank account according to your Stripe payout schedule (e.g., daily, weekly).
This standard delay ensures that all transactions are final before reaching your bank, creating a more stable and reliable payment flow.
